It was a beautiful sunny, hot day and we parked under the streets by Millenium Park and walked out into the sun.
Immediately Sarah covered her ears and turned to me and said "It is loud here!"
And it was really loud. TONS of people and cars and buses and taxis. So much going on around our little family!
So we headed to Millenium Park, in kind of a round about way. If you have every been in a big city (and I have been in quite a few), it is really easy to get lost. So we turned the wrong direction and walked the wrong way for a block or 2.
When we figured out where we were and headed back the right way, we stepped into a beautiful garden full of children. We took a minute and dipped our feet in the stream and it was so COLD and so refreshing!
Cutie Rachel, Emma and Sarah cooling off!
Then we turned a corner a found what we had been looking for!!!
THE BEAN!!!
This is one of the most iconic Chicago art pieces and I have always wanted to visit it with my kids! SO FUN!
So get ready for some really fun pictures reflected in The Bean!
~Emma, Sarah and Rachel checking themselves out in the reflection!
~Had to take another one! So funny!
~Just me and my hubby!
~One of my favorite pictures, the girls laying on their backs with their feet up on The Bean!
Getting ready to walk under it.
(you can see our family reflected toward the top)
This is looking straight up underneath (see how many times you can find our little family, HINT- use my HOT PINK shirt to find us)
The girls couldn't believe the reflections that surrounded us on every side!
Up on Richard's shoulder, Emma liked to reach up and touch her reflection

Rachel kept looking and looking and looking at her reflection!
And more pictures of the girls! It is hard to believe that The Bean reflects so well! It honestly, never got old!
We had to get going but had heard about an awesome water feature we had to check out.
So we did!
There are 2 tall walls with water pouring down and praying out all over.
We were hot, so the girls and I went in to splash around while Richard took some pictures.
We started by just jumping around and splashing each other.
AND THEN....
The girls ran over by the wall and got SOAKING WET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the prefect end of a fun family day!
~Hey Family!!!~
What a fabulous day trip!
I love my family!
They make me laugh every day!!!
