Route 66 fun!

Living along Route 66 has been a fun adventure for us.
Each time we drive to the temple, we drive the Mother Road!

We pass a really fun place called "Pops"!
We stopped to check it out one day...
Slanted glass walls full of shelves of every color of soda available.  From all over the world!

We had to check out the restaurant and store!
So many crazy flavors of soda that we had never heard of and we got to each pick one to take home.

 YUMMY!!!
Key Lime, Astro Pop Cherry, Pink Grapefruit from Australia, Orange Crush, Blood Orange (YUM!), and Hot Lips Blackberry Soda (with chunks)!

The HUGE soda bottle outside on Route 66.
It lights up at night.
What a fun roadside attraction!!!

THE long-awaited, much-anticipated, family move!

We have been preparing to pack up our moving truck and move south.
And the day finally came....

But first, a little backstory about this move:
With Richard's decision to specialize in NUCCA Chiropractic (click HERE to learn more about the amazing way NUCCA is helping so many people), we knew we would have the possibility of doing a preceptorship (internship).
When an amazing doctor invited Richard to intern with him and possible join his practice, we knew we had to follow this opportunity.
AND...
So we did!!!!

A few memorable snapshots for the day...
Merrills (Jordan, Molly, Faith, Celeste, and Scarlett) We miss having you just up the street! Who is going to come and sit at the house with our girls while we go to the emergency room? Or come down and look at the Wii and tell me (Becky) that there isn't a game in there TO eject? (0:

The Colvins (Tanise, Kaushay, Kaia, cuz Destiny, and Kamari).
Richard has been their home teacher since we moved into the ward.
He was able to help them come back to church and the girls be baptized.
Beautiful family who we love and even wrote us an amazing, funny, sweet, silly, wonderful song to remember them by!
We love and adore you and miss you and, did I mentioned that we love you!!!!?!?!??!
~miss you~

One of the only pictures of the drive...
Sarah and Emma playing "Guess Who".

Our new apartment, made possible by Richard, Grandma Joy and Grandpa Lynn
AND
some fabulous and amazing men in our new ward.
So grateful for each of you (especially those troopers who carried my piano up to the 2nd floor apartment!).

Living amongst boxes...
Playing card games with Grandma Joy. So much fun!

St Patrick's Day
The girls found something green to wear!

Also, on St. Patrick's day, Grandma Joy did their traditional Easter Egg Treasure Hunt.
The girls LOOOOOOVE this!
They love to run and look in the fridge, the bathtub, on the front door...
... in the shower, under the towels, in books on the shelf...
...under the front door mat, under pillows, in the stove...

UNTIL...

The baskets are found and treats are eaten!

Oh, and then there is this...
... AND Richard and I make a fool of ourselves running around for our hunt and then put the buckets on our heads.
YEP! We are that awesome! (0:

Then it was time to say goodbye. The hardest part.
Group picture taken with the auto-timer.
LOVE you all!

"Why can't you stay, Grandma?"~Rachel

We love you miss you Grandpa and Granny (0: !
You are the BEST!
Our lives would be perfect if we could just live in your house forever and ever.
Thank you so much for coming and playing with us and helping us and hugging us every single day!
WE LOVE YOU!!!
Come visit us again soon!

PS Yeay for a direct flight to SLC!!! (0:

Miscellaneous love...

Had to post a simple note of miscellaneous love from our house.

Rachel's wonderful friend Sarah Bair, who just so happened to have the same wonderful shirt! Wish we had more time to spend with this amazing family before we moved. Rach misses you so much!

Had to make a farewell gift for some friends from the beginning, the Snarrs. Love those girls and miss them.

Richard spent 11 days in the country of Bequia on a medical mission. There will be more pictures to follow for sure. We missed him so much, but were so grateful for Skype! We were able to say family prayer every night together with out daddy! We were so grateful to have him home. The girls made an AWESOME "Welcome Home" sign for him.
Yes, it was 10:30 at night and we were at the airport. And yes, it was a school day the next day. Totally worth it!!!!

I love miscellaneous love!

Here's the BIG ONE!!! The Disney World Post...

So, for years now we have been dreaming and saving to go to Disney World in Orlando, FL.
This year that dream came true for our family!
The girls leaned a lot about saving money for a goal and it turned out
AMAZING!!!!!
We were blessed to have Grandpa Lynn and Grandma Joy, Aunt Michelle, and Aunt Marianne and Uncle Brian come with us!
I had to put TONS of pictures, so they are grouped together and a little smaller.
I hope that you enjoy this post. It was an amazing time!

Day #1- MAGIC KINGDOM

We made it! We are really here!!!!

Just a quick little snapshot on the way in!

Bippity- Boppidy Boutique!!!
Each of the girls were able to go and have their hair and make-up done to get ready for their princess lunch. Each girl had their own fairy godmother helper to get her ready! It was so much fun to watch the joy on their faces. Sarah chose the beautiful classic princess hair style and Rachel and Emma chose the "firework" style (that's what the girls called it).

We had lunch with Cinderella in her castle! We even saw Gus and Jacques hiding up in the rafters watching! The girls got tons of pictures with the rest of Princesses in attendance (Ariel, Aurora, Belle, and Snow White). And I had to get a snapshot with Rachel!

Rachel's silly face!!!
Emma's dreams were fulfilled when she met Minnie Mouse! One of the best days of her life!!! Riding rides and spending time with family made this day fabulous!

At "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween" Party, the girls got to trick-or-treat, watch the Villains parade, dance with Goofy at his dance party, and enjoy some amazing fireworks at the end of the day!

DAY #2- ANIMAL KINGDOM

We loved this park! We enjoyed an amazing safari ride, a fabulous Lion King show, fun street shows and wonderful food!!
Rachel riding with Aunt Michelle, meeting Goofy, and dancing with her new Perry the Platypus!

ORLANDO, FL TEMPLE

It was a beautiful day to visit the temple. We are so grateful to know that Families Can Be Together Forever!!!

DAY #3 HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Our family in front of the big Mickey Hat. It was hilarious to look around and see all the HUGE toys by the Toy Story ride. And we met our buds, Phineas and Ferb!!!

COCOA BEACH, FL

We love the beach and we could have played there all day long! The weather was beautiful and the waves were so fun. Building sand castles on the beach is such a blast! Even Emma in her cast cover really enjoyed the day!

DAY #4- MAGIC KINGDOM (again!)

The girls' Mickey hats, meeting Rapunzel, and riding the Teacups. So much fun!!!

It's a Small World ride and Rachel had to drive the cars with Mom!

Tired family riding the train around the park for a rest. And the girls had to try to pull the Sword out of the Stone, but no luck that day!

Our last pictures is Disney World. It was just before the show and fireworks started and we had to snap a final picture. I love how happy we all are! What an AMAZING TIME!!!

We couldn't drive up from the south without seeing one of my BFFs, Amy!!! I love this southern gal! Some things NEVER CHANGE and I am so glad!

Like we always do, we had to stop by any temple along the way. This time it was the Atlanta, GA Temple and we snapped a few pictures!

Sarah (9yrs), Emma (5 yrs), and Rachel (7 yrs)

So, there it is, a quick glimpse into the the Most Fabulous, Spectacular, Amazing, Wonderful, Halarious, and Beautiful Disney World Trip EVER!!!!
I hope it made you smile!
