Chuck E Cheese, lunch surprise, and the Sista Visit!!!

This week was full of stuff. Lately our weeks have been pretty non-stuff filled.
Monday we went to a little "get-together" for a friend from our ward and neighbor. We headed over to Chuck E Cheese and had an awesome time!!! It was fun to be together as a family and just running around and playing games! Sarah and Rachel "riding" a roller coaster!

Emma on a horse ride! She loved it!

On Wednesday Richard and I decided to surpirse Sarah at school and meet her there for lunch. She came walking down the hall and we were standing there waiting for us. She was beaming with excitement as she showed us through the lunch line. We sat and enjoyed talking with her and her showing us off to her friends. She wanted us to go out to recess with her, so we did. It was FREEZING! But it was so fun for us to watch her play hopscotch, jump rope and run around. I a so glad that Sarah still thinks we are cool! What a fun day for us!

I have been pretty down because my girlfriends are going to Las Vegas (the end of this week)and I am trapped here in freezing cold Midwest. Last year it was so amazing and fun and I love you girls and miss you a lot! I was hoping to come and join you, but I just couldn't pull it off. Please know that I am thinking of you guys and being jealous for the next week! Please post pictures and tell me a play-by-play!!!

On the bright side, one of my best friends came to visit!!! My sister Katie and her husband John! We love them so much! And the girls adore them!!! We met them at the Cheesecake Factory in Chicago and ate an amazing meal!!! One the way home we stopped by the John Deere headquarters and played around on stuff!

There is nothing like an awesome sister! I am so grateful to have such an awesome family!!! I miss them so much but I know we need to be here in the Midwest! Thanks for coming out and visiting! It made us feel like we were home again! It made our apartment feel like a home!
We are open for visitors anytime!!!

Well, there's pretty little chance that we'll be heading out to Iowa, but if we are....we'll be sure to stop by. You guys seem like great hosts!! What a great week. I hope things keep being fun for you.

I can't get over Emma's hair! What? So gorgeous. I actually called Elisa this morning (they were on their way to St. George) She promised me they would'nt have ANY fun without us :). Just kidding. I hope they have a blast. I guess Deb is sick, so she wasn't able to go either. Anyway, I am sad too. Someday we will all get together again for a girls night in the Bahamas or something :)I miss you!
