Fall Soccer 2011

My favorite time of year...

FALL SOCCER!!!

This season is our last season before we move, so Richard and I LOVED every minute of watching the girls play!

Emma, Sarah and Rachel in between games...

Emma's first season of soccer!

Emma loved playing in games!

Rachel all bundled up for her morning game!

Emma and her friends cooling off after the game!

Sarah playing Midfielder! Her favorite!!!

Emma chasing down the ball at practice...

Rachel taking shots at Emma the goalie!

Go, Emma, Go!!!

Rachel chasing it down!

Right before a HUGE Emma kick!!

Great 1st Soccer season, Emma!!!

I love watching the girls play soccer together!!!

Tired Emma at the end of a game! Don't we all have days like that?!?!

Just had to put up a quick pic of Sarah and her BFF, Ashton. They have been playing soccer together for a couple years now and the last game was a little sad. It's hard when things change! We are so glad to have a few months to play before we leave!

SOCCER RULES!!!

Misc. July pix!

I had to post a few random pictures that we took in July!

Beautiful girls! It's hard to believe how big the girls are getting!
Emma (5yrs), Rachel (7yrs) and Sarah (8yrs)

Sarah and her great friend Kylie had soccer camp during the HOTTEST WEEK OF THE YEAR!!!! The heat index was 120 degree those day! But Sarah love it and learned so much!

And Richard was photographing my Interior Design projects for me and had the camera set up and the girls hopped in and took a few pictures themselves!

There is nothing like a sister!

Beautiful girls who we love!

Our Spring Adventures!

Wow, this is turning into like once a month! Oh well, that's what it is for now! (0:

Richard and I went into Chicago for a quick date. We have been talking about taking an Architectural River Cruise for a long time. And it was awesome! I am so glad we did it!
Richard and me. Beautiful day, but so glad we wore jackets!

We took another trip to Chicago and visited the temple there. Our first time in 2 1/2 years living in the Midwest. It was rainy, but very beautiful! The girls loved taking their pictures!

And with spring, some SOCCER!!!!!!! Sarah and Rachel played this year (Emma gets to start in the fall). It has been a wild season! Very windy and rainy, but so much fun!
Sarah taking it in!

Rachel has so much fun playing goalie!

And of course, Emma, with a crown at the soccer games

Richard went away to California for his first out of town seminar. We missed him so much! The girls made him a sign for when we picked him up at the airport! The girls had their jammies on since it was almost 8:30pm when Richard flew in. They held up their signs as everyone passed (and smiled!) and waited for their daddy. It was great to have him home!

EASTER 2011!!!
Gotta meet the bunny!

Hair in curlers for church!

Family picture after church

School days are drawing to a close so I wanted to also post some fun pictures I have taken the last few weeks at the school.
Sarah ALWAYS runs across the playground to meet us!

Rachel got some grass from her class because they are studying plants.

This is a typical Emma face while she slides at the playground.
Why? I don't know, but it makes me laugh!

DANDELIONS!!! I know that I posted about this last year, but every year, for about a month, our lives revolve around them. When they are yellow the girls pick arm fulls of them, everywhere we go. Then the second they turn white and puffy, there are days and days of wishes And white fluff floating through the air (and getting caught in hair, shirts and somehow getting into my house)!!!!

Rachel and Emma

Sarah's "fluffy" eyeballs

Here is a picture of the girls on Mother's Day (notice the dandelions in their hands). Such sweet cuties!!! It has been a great and crazy month. I am going to keep taking pictures and blogging when I can! With my new calling at church (Relief Society Secretary), I am finding a little more time to do those things that have been waiting.
Come back again! We love you guys!

Soccer Season Winding Down...

Fall Soccer Season in Iowa is winding down and I thought I would post some pictures. Sarah and Rachel now have each played 2 seasons and really love it!
At the beginning of the season, Sarah had her appendix out, but she was able to play her favorite position (forward) for the last 3 games and she LOVED it! Rachel still loves playing defender and it's great to see how she is learning and growing.
They are both getting better with each practice and each game.

They are learning to be more aggressive and to run hard. Keep Moving Forward!!!

Typical Iowa Fall Day- soccer surrounded by cornfields!

Rachel ready to play!

I love this face Rachel makes! Tongue hanging out and running around!

Goalie Sarah getting ready!

Great throw in!

Windy day at soccer for Rachel, can you tell?

Rachel right after her HUGE kick!

GO Sarah!

Sarah dribbling her way over.

Rachel pushing her way through. Go tough girl!

Awesome throw-in, Rachel!

This is the typical Rachel goalie. Standing and playing around.
